In 2015, we started the company Northland Door & Woodwork as a cabinet door manufacturing plant. After we started the company, we had several customers requesting dovetailed drawers in addition to the cabinet door lineup, so we started manufacturing unfinished dovetailed drawers. Several months later, upon customer request, we added a spray booth to apply clear finish to the drawer boxes. As demand for the dovetailed drawers increased and the markets changed, we promoted the dovetailed drawers and custom accessories, making the cabinet doors a secondary product line.

In March of 2022, we experienced a devastating fire and lost our shop and all equipment. We rebuilt a new bigger shop and replaced and updated all our machinery. At the same time, we decided to drop the cabinet door manufacturing and focus totally on quality dovetailed drawers with custom accessories. After 1 year of rebuilding, our new shop has been producing since March 2023.

Our plant is located in Barwick, Ontario, which is centrally located in Canada, giving us access to markets in Eastern Canada, Western Canada, and the United States.
